Item description   
Please use silver oxide batteries SR43 or SR43W (1.55V) with this adapter.

That way, the voltage will be reduced and you can use the same content as the older MR-9 PX625 PX13 mercury batteries (1.35V).

Compatible models:
Can be used with models that use the general mercury battery MR-9.

Note: 
If you use the Canon EF or checker lamp on a model that requires a large current, the lamp may dim or not light. Please use the MR-9 adapter non-conversion type for Canon EF. 
I also recommend using the MR-9 adapter non-conversion type for digital exposure meters.

Due to the discharge voltage characteristics, batteries other than silver oxide battery SR43 and SR43W are not compatible.

  • ** On Canonet GIII 17, Canonet GIII 19, and Olympus 35DC (BC), the adapter can be used, but the battery-check lamp may not operate normally and the indicated voltage may differ slightly.
  • *** Some cameras (such as Canon 7S, Canon F-1, Nikon Nikomat FT/FTN, Leica MR Meter, Topcon RE series, etc.) have battery compartment designs that may require extra attention or minor modification to prevent contact issues.Because a short circuit may occur due to the shape of the battery contacts in the battery chamber. Please verify compatibility before purchase.
  • This compatibility list applies only to the MR-9 Voltage Conversion Adapter. Models requiring the MR-9 Non-Transformation adapter are not included.
